MRS. MELISSA GINSBERG
-
Language Arts, Social Studies, Geography
The
5th TEAM is thrilled to welcome Mrs. Ginsberg back to the Farley School
after being at Forest Avenue School for three years. Mrs. Ginsberg has
a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Lesley University.
Mrs. Ginsberg is also a VERY busy mom...she and her husband Scott are
the proud parents of three beautiful children: Emma, Ethan, and their
newest edition - Hannah. Mrs. Ginsberg will be teaching Language Arts
to Mrs. O'Connell's homeroom, and her own homeroom; Social Studies to
Mrs. Williams' homeroom, and Geography to Mr. Mulchay's and Mrs. Williams'
homerooms.
Mrs. Ginsberg is thrilled to be back teaching with her very good friends,
Mr. Mulcahy, Mrs. O'Connell, Mrs. Varden, and Mrs. Williams.
MR. SCOTT MULCAHY-
Language Arts, Math, Geography,
and Science Instructor
is about to begin his
fourth year as a member of our teaching team. Mr. Mulcahy will be teaching
Language Arts, Math, Geography, and Science to our 5th TEAMERS. Mr. Mulcahy
holds a Bachelor's degree from Stonehill College, and a Master's degree
from the University of Hartford. He is also a Student Council advisor
at Farley. He and his beautiful wife, Courtney, (also a teacher) live
in Leicester, MA.
Mr. Mulcahy is very happy to be working with his friends and colleagues, Mrs. Ginsberg, Mrs. O'Connell, Mrs. Varden, and Mrs. Williams.
MRS.
ROBIN O'CONNELL

Math Instructor
has been a
teacher in the Hudson School system for her entire teaching career. She
has taught sixth grade, she has taught seventh grade math, she was a Reading
Recovery teacher, and, for the past 11 years, has been a fifth grade teacher.
Mrs. O'Connell is thrilled to be teaching her # 1 favorite subject: MATH!
Mrs. O'Connell holds a Master's of Education, is a trained Mentor teacher, a trained Responsive Classroom teacher, a classroom collaborator and administrator for "Critical MASS" which is a grant program to improve the quality of math and science classroom instruction, and she is active on several educational planning committees.
Mrs. O'Connell is married, and she is the mother of two children. She is very excited about team-teaching with her good friends and colleagues, Mrs. Ginsberg, Mr. Mulcahy, Mrs. Varden, and Mrs. Williams.
MRS.
KARA VARDEN -
Language Arts and Science Instructor
has just finished her seventh year
teaching in the Hudson School system, and she is happy to be returning
to the Fifth TEAM at Farley. Mrs. Varden will be teaching only Language
Arts and Science this year.
Mrs.
Varden has a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy. She also holds a
Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Elementary Education.
Mrs. Varden and her wonderful husband, Jayce, live in Maynard.
Mrs. Varden is a trained Responsive Classroom teacher, and she loves to team-teach with her good friends and colleagues, Mrs. Ginsberg, Mr. Mulcahy, Mrs. O'Connell, and Mrs. Williams.
MRS.
LESLIE WILLIAMS -
Social Studies, Geography, and Language Arts Instructor
has been a teacher
in the Hudson School system for 15 years. She began her career in Hudson
at Forest Avenue School, and 11 years ago she and Mrs. O'Connell moved
over to C.A. Farley School as fifth grade teachers.
Mrs. Williams holds a Master's of Education with a Concentration in Technology, is a trained Mentor teacher, a trained Responsive Classroom teacher, and she is the Student Council advisor for Farley. Mrs. Williams is VERY excited to be teaching Social Studies and Language Arts. She will also be teaching Geography classes to Mrs. Varden's and Mrs. Ginsberg's classes this year.
Mrs. Williams is married, and she is the mother of two children, and the step-mother to two children. She is thrilled to be team-teaching with her good friends and colleagues, Mrs. Ginsberg, Mr. Mulcahy, Mrs. O'Connell, and Mrs. Varden.
